Interim Appointeeship Service
Interim Appointeeship Service
The Interim Appointeeship Service from The Money Carer Foundation (MCF) is available as a transitional ‘stepping stone’ plan whilst the deputyship application progresses through the court of protection.
The service is a pragmatic way of quickly putting in place an interim money management solution for vulnerable clients at a low (or in many cases zero) cost to the client given the length of time deputyship applications can take.
MCF are the largest provider of appointeeships in the UK and as such, we are able to leverage our resources and systems to assist solicitors and local authorities in a sensible and practical way by opening a bank account for the client, ensuring welfare benefit entitlements are claimed correctly and setting up bill payments, carer funds and everyday spending and budget plans before the deputyship has been granted by the court.
By putting in place these everyday money management foundations, the deputy is then able to simply take over the bank account on the Monika platform and undertake their legal responsibilities more seamlessly and in a more cost effective way for the protected person and the organisation.
For further information about this service please fill in this contact form and a member of the Money Carer team will be in touch shortly to discuss further.
